When you hear the words "mindfulness and meditation", what picture do you see in your mind? Are you at a retreat? Perhaps a house of worship? Maybe you are sitting in easy pose with your legs crossed. Or is this a new concept for you?
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. Oftentimes, during our busy daily schedule, we lose contact with our awareness. There are simple, time-efficient ways during the day to recapture it that actually can help you improve your focus, gain greater mental clarity, improved insights, increased self-confidence, and an overall feeling of well-being.
